Central "Core" Planets
A wonderland of peace and technology. Citizens have enough to eat, they work in skyscrapers and live in high rise apartment buildings. The grass is green and the skies are clear (at least that’s what the alliance propaganda wants you to believe).
Though the propaganda is mostly true, the poor on the Core worlds rarely want for food or shelter. Not all living here are well to do, in fact, those who aren’t wealthy don’t find life much better than those on the Rim worlds.
Citizens of the Core sometimes find themselves trapped in repetitive, unimaginative jobs, viewing nothing but four walls of a cubicle, with the watchful eye of the alliance looking over their shoulder. There is so much surveillance on the Core worlds (to prevent crime and ensure the safety of the citizens) that almost everything done by anyone is recorded on a monitor somewhere.
Crime is almost nonexistent.
Most folk on the Core worlds are content. they lead comfortable lives, with time and leisure to spend with families and friends. Their children have access to the best quality education and health care.
